Tears turned to fire and burnt my face so deep

Save me now my sire, wipe them as I weep.

I weep in the rain, thou will never see them flow

But scars will remain, blessed to me by friendly foe.

Friendly foe of mine, o tears burning deep

Vanquished I am thine, fallen now I sleep.

Surmise I from songs your eyes sing

Each time in the moonlight they meet mine

When gentle breeze caresses swing

They shine luminously, yes they shine.

Those healing eyes my yoke they take

Freeing from shackles of agony so deep

Caressed my tired soul, slowly awake

In your arms, listen, its blissful weep.

Listen I to the songs your eyes sing

Versed tenderly for my waiting ears,

Waiting for blossom, waiting for spring

Patiently each day, will wait for years.

Once a tree of love would grow

Then branches broke, leaves dried

Blowing the ashes wind cried

And I chased, chased I the shadow.

Flowers scarlet, crimson halos

How once embellished thee

Now all is lost, melancholy

Has kissed thy roots there it grows.

Longing still your clement shade

Cooling warmth against the sun.

Longing still when leaves are none

Blessed by memories, that doth not fade.

Towards the dark woods I run

Chasing the decoying dreams

Crawled, found trace of none

Fooled by their puckish whims.

Pray to silence, whisper to me

Now which road must I tread?

On which path my home I’ll see

An’ be freed from this lonely dread?

To Hope

So tired of it all,
i now stop flapping my wings, and fall.
through the thin air
I am falling in the pit of despair.
and yet no pain i feel
without wings, wounded i kneel.
with one thought to grope-
is sorrow the sullen child of hope?

A New Song

In what new words O bounteous spring

I praise thy glory, paean I sing.

In words so humble and grand define

Thy benign soul and beauty divine.

Ay, thy lovers with heavenly delight

Each dawn have worshipped serenaded at night

With notes of love ,passions so strong.

I search new words and a virgin song.

Shall I compare the flowers with jewels,

Murmurs of wind among leaves with bells?

Alas that raindrops like pearls are, too

were versed before , not new to you.

So now in contemplation a little wise

O Goddess Ceres , I realize

You bless all with love so same

Free my unskilled art from blame.
